God of Love – STR’s 51st Film Announced

Silambarasan TR, popularly known as STR, has given his fans a reason to celebrate on his 42nd birthday! The actor made a thrilling announcement about his 51st film, officially titled 'God of Love'.

Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and backed by AGS Entertainment, this project marks the director’s second collaboration with the production house after *Dragon*.  

In a double treat for fans, STR also revealed that his previously shelved passion project, tentatively titled *STR 50*, is back on track. Meanwhile, his 49th film, directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan of *Parking* fame, is already in the works, adding to the excitement surrounding his upcoming lineup.  

The official poster for *God of Love* was unveiled with the intriguing caption: *“Love exists in fear, and that is why God does not come to Earth… But what if He defies it and descends to Earth?”* This hints at a mythological romance storyline, though the cast and crew details are yet to be revealed.  

Ashwath Marimuthu, known for his debut film *Oh My Kadavule* (2020) and the upcoming *Dragon* (2025), brings his unique storytelling style to *God of Love*. With STR in the lead, this project is already one of the most anticipated films in Tamil cinema.
