Tamil cinema continues to welcome passionate new production houses aiming to deliver meaningful and entertaining films. Adding fresh energy to the industry is Drama Company, a new production banner headed by Balamurugan.
The yet-to-be-titled film brings together Shivarajkumar and Abishan Jeevinth (known for the blockbuster Tourist Family and With Love) in lead roles.
Shivani Nagaram, who shot to fame with the hit Telugu film Little Hearts, has been roped in as the female lead. Joining her is Yogalakshmi, popular for the Hotstar series Heart Beat and the film Tourist Family.
The film marks the directorial debut of Gowtham Sivaraman.
The project was officially launched with a traditional pooja ceremony in Chennai. The event was graced by several prominent personalities from the Tamil film industry, including Soundarya Rajinikanth, Mahesh Raj, C. Premkumar, producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu, actor Manikandan, Ken Karunas, producer R.D. Raja, Avudaiappan, actor Rishikanth, Prabhu Ram Vyas, Madhan, Karuppiah C. Ram, and many others.
The supporting cast includes Gana Vinoth (Bigg Boss fame), Sangeetha Madhavan, Benjamin, and others.
Leon James is composing the music, while Pragadeesh Prabhu handles cinematography. Suresh Kumar is the editor, and Swathi Ramakrishnan is in charge of costumes.
Shooting of the film has already commenced at a brisk pace in Chennai. Drama Company is expected to share more exciting updates about the project soon.
