Double Occupancy is a Tamil fantasy romantic comedy film directed by Aswin Kandasamy in his directorial debut.
It stars Santhosh and Reshma Venkatesh in the lead roles, alongside Samyuktha Viswanathan, Vinoth Kishan, VTV Ganesh and Bagavathi Perumal in supporting roles.
The story follows a mysterious twist of fate where two strangers share one body — a woman by day and a man by night. As they deal with their separate lives, romantic relationships and hidden identity, the situation creates hilarious complications filled with love, confusion and self-discovery.
Produced by Benzz Media and Avni Movies with music by Sam CS, the film was released in theatres on 12 June 2026. It runs for around 2 hours 10 minutes and has received mixed to positive early feedback for its unique concept and light-hearted entertainment.
