Varghese Moolan Pictures and Tricolour Films have unveiled a striking new look from their upcoming film ‘G D’, starring R. Madhavan. Based on a true incident from the life of legendary inventor and industrial pioneer G.D. Naidu, the movie is scheduled for a grand theatrical release this July.

Written and directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar, the film delves into an important chapter in the life of G.D. Naidu, fondly remembered as the “Edison of India” and the “Wealth Creator of Coimbatore.” Known for his revolutionary ideas and pioneering contributions across multiple industries, Naidu remains one of India’s most celebrated visionaries.
This project marks the reunion of Varghese Moolan Pictures and Tricolour Films following the National Award-winning success of Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The film is produced by Varghese Moolan and Vijay Moolan under Varghese Moolan Pictures, and by R. Madhavan and Sarita Madhavan under Tricolour Films.
The ensemble cast includes Sathyaraj, Priyamani, Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Thambi Ramaiya, Vinay Rai, and Karunakaran, each playing pivotal roles in bringing this inspiring story to life.
