The official teaser for the SlumDog Tamil movie titled SlumDog 33 Temple Road a gritty pan India action drama dropped on June 8 2026 at 6 pm and is already creating massive hype among fans.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh the film stars Vijay Sethupathi in a dark intense avatar as a mysterious blind beggar from the slums. He delivers a hard hitting warning in the teaser that people like him spend their lives seeking shelter under trees when it rains but will not spare anyone who toys with their lives. The clip keeps the mystery high showing only glimpses of struggle rage and high energy action without revealing too much.
Vijay Sethupathi personally dubbed the teaser in Tamil Telugu and Hindi giving it a special touch for audiences across languages. The teaser launch event took place in Chennai where the actor described it as one of Puri Jagannadh’s best scripts.
The key cast includes Vijay Sethupathi as the lead mysterious blind beggar Tabu as the police officer Samyuktha Menon as the female lead Duniya Vijay as the antagonist along with Zarina Wahab VTV Ganesh and Brahmaji in other roles.

It is set for a theatrical release in 2026 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Shooting has wrapped up and post production including music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar is in full swing.
